Let Your Creative Animal out of the Cage!
Everyone has something important to tell about his/her life, and bringing order to your life experiences by writing about them can be very satisfying.  In this workshop Caroline Dunlap Ph.D. will discuss the value of writing from personal experience, how to construct a narrative poem, and what a poem should do.  We will engage in some creative activities that help unlock the perfect idea for a poem.  The instructor will share some poems she has written as well as tips for revision that may help you to make your own poems stronger.  At the end, those who wish to may read their poems aloud to the group.  No fee but registration is required.  Suitable for ages 18 & up.  Call 343-7747 or click here to register.
